2023 Drop Coffee Roasters Impact Report

The 2023 Drop Coffee Roasters Impact Report is our third ever sustainability report. This year we’ve chosen to focus more closely on “impact,” specifically by evaluating our environmental, economical and social actions and their overall effects the planet, people, and profit for the calendar year of 2023. Also included in this year’s publication is our coffee lot pricing data.

This report covers our import, roastery, café operations and is part of our overall initiative to promote transparency, efficiency and accountability not just for ourselves, but the entire coffee industry. By gathering and examining this data we’re able to more clearly see our footprint, which will then inform our business practices (and hopefully those of others) going forward. Sustainability also means using the resources available to us to do our core business, sourcing and roasting delicious coffee, in a way that will preserve the resources and opportunities for generations to come.

Becoming more sustainable is an ongoing journey, but this report gives us an insightful glimpse at where we currently stand, so that we know where we're headed. We invite you to have a look and let us know your thoughts!
